It was almost night by the beach
It Was Almost Night by the Beach investigates the relationship between intimacy and technological mediation. It explores how a human, affective, and intimate dimension can emerge within highly mediated and technically constructed environments.
The series is composed of images and video loops generated with artificial intelligence. The process begins with the reconstruction of certain photographic conventions through generative imagery, while also incorporating, in an expressive way, the constraints inherent to these systems.
I seek to make visible the extent to which the natural and the artificial are now deeply entangled. In these images, the technical and the human, the artificial and the real, do not appear as opposites, but as dimensions that affect one another and destabilize perception.
I am interested in whether, even within what appears artificial, it is still possible to recognize a form of closeness.
