In July 2023, my partner and I were fortunate to arrive in Albsyn, Sweden. Over two afternoons visiting the Storforsen waterfalls, I gathered the material that would become this series.

There was something hypnotic about photographing the multiplicity of forms assumed by the water, and its almost instantaneous dissolution upon hitting the rocks—something like a state of latency between the deafening roar and the calm of its undisturbed flow.
